Contest Rules

HERE ARE THE GENERAL RULES FOR CONTESTS CONDUCTED ON KMKT:

Contest winners on 931KMKT.COM and on the air at 93.1 KMKT-FM must be 18 years of age or older unless otherwise stated.

Prizes are always non-transferrable to another party.

Employees of KATY COUNTRY and Next Media, past or present, their families, advertisers, principal employees, their families and employees of any other radio station or media company are not eligible.

One winner per household of any prize (whether on-air or any other station-related promotion) for a 30 day period, unless a major prize winner, (valued at a thousand dollars or more) which is once every six (6) months.

Any applicable taxes and gratuities are the responsibility of the contest winner. Rules are subject to change without notice.

In all contests on 931KMKT.COM and on the air at 93.1 KMKT-FM, the decision of the judges is final!!

When calling KATY COUNTRY, you automatically grant us the right to use your conversation with us, in whole or in part, on the air without further compensation.

Winners who pick up prizes at the KATY COUNTRY studios must do so within 30 days on non-holiday weekdays between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

When picking up prizes, winner identification will be required. It is station policy not to mail prizes to our winners as this method is too risky and too costly.
